Gill Hockett

Gill Chadler Hockett age 54, New York City, NY. Formerly of Carl Junction, MO passed away at UpState University Hospital in Syracuse, NY on August 2, 2021. He Lost his battle with cancer since 2015.....

He was born to Larry & Connie Hockett Dec.12, 1966, Bates County, MO.

After the death of his father Larry Hockett in 1967, the family moved to Archie MO, they were blessed with a loving babysitter Faye and daughters, Linda & Donna who loved and cared for him & Lisha, while mother worked.








Later moving to Carl Junction Area, at the age of 9 attending and graduating from Carl Junction High School in 1985. Gill always loved his horses and loved riding in the local horse Show-De-O's. Gill loved playing football in Jr. High and Sr High, receiving many awards through the years.

He attended MSSU before moving to Denver, CO to attend college there. Which led to him opening an organic gardening store. While in CO he made friends that have been true and with him ever since. From there he moved to NYC, NY where he again was greeted with great opportunities and blessings. In NY he opened his own business Gill Hockett Design. gillhockettdesign.com. He got to live out his life with so many amazing adventures and was very successful.

Gill is survived by his parents Connie and Larry Hoffman. His sister, Lisha McRae & husband Adam, two brothers, Jerry Hoffman, Travis Perry, and sister-in-law Kathy Hoffman. Six nieces and nephews; Ryan McRae, wife Linze, Lauren McRae, Chaz McRae, Shelby Perry, Seth Perry, and Walker Hoffman. Two great nieces; Azalea & Eve McRae. An Aunt Rae Stewart, and husband Jimmy. Many cousins and many very special friends who he loved as family. May He Rest in Peace.....

Gill was preceded in death by his Father, Larry Hockett, Grandparents on both sides, and Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

  2. I am still in shock. I worked with Gill. He was very fun to work with. We used to giggle together. My deepest sympathy to all of his family members and friends.
