Daniel Benningfield

Daniel Carl Benningfield, 66, of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Daniel was born on February 11, 1955 in Noel, Missouri to the late James and Marvel Naomi (Thompson) Benningfield. 

He married Roberta Marie Divine on June 14, 1974 in Pineville, Missouri and to this union two children were born. 








Daniel owned and operated PTC Services in Mounds, Oklahoma and was a partner in Diamond Diggz and Stepping Stone of Goodman, Missouri. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Daniel cherished time spent with his family and always had a way of making others feel special.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger L. Benningfield.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 47 years, Roberta Benningfield of the home; two children, Misty Farmer (Jon) of Goodman, Missouri, Timothy Benningfield (Meranda) of Mounds, Oklahoma; five siblings, Doug Benningfield of Lanagan, Missouri, John Benningfield of Anderson, Missouri, Darel Benningfield (Vickie) of Claremore, Oklahoma, Charles Benningfield (Chris) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cheryl Bateman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Kenzie, Elena and Asher Benningfield, Colter and Landon Vick, Chelsea Cook (Trent), Zandrya Kramer (Kevin), Zachary Farmer (Lacy); great grandchildren, Tyler, Cooper, Adrian, Jayden, Grayson and Ariah; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Daniel.

Funeral services for Daniel will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Banner Nazarene Church in Anderson, Missouri. Reverend Dennis Bergen and Reverend Jim Thornton will officiate. Those serving as pallbearers; Timothy Benningfield, Jon Farmer, Colter Vick, Jordan Evans, Tyler Evans and Clyde Davidson; honorary pallbearers Doug Benningfield, John Benningfield, Darel Benningfield, Charles Benningfield, Truman Evans, Johnny Divine, Harvey Schlessman, and Mike Doran. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions given to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (give.nazarene.org) or Nucleic Products in care of Ozark Funeral Home..
