(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mrs. Amy Elizabeth Schenck, 39, of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, August 27, 2021, at South City Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Amy entered this life on April 20, 1982, in Nevada, Missouri, born to the union of John and Pamela Jean (LaFon) Wingert. She was raised in Golden City, Missouri and was a 2000 graduate of Golden City High School. Amy has resided in Webb City the last twenty years.
For nearly twenty years, Amy has worked for the US Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier.
She attended worship services at Bible Believers Baptist Church in Carterville. She enjoyed baking, reading and time spent with her family and friends.
Her mother, Pamela and a brother, Brandon Gilmore, preceded her in death.
On June 14, 2014, she was united in marriage to Steven Schenck and he survives. Additional survivors include her two daughters, Breanna and Cali Butcher; two stepdaughters, Samantha and Jayden Schenck; her father, John Wingert and his wife, Paula; a brother, Bryan Wingert; her maternal grandmother, Clarice Trimble; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Gary Vinson officiating. Private burial will follow at Heaven’s Gate Cemetery in Golden City with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
