(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Colleen L. Bradford, beloved wife, mother, and friend, gained her angel wings August 21, 2021 at the age of 59 in Joplin, Mo.
Colleen was born in Pennsylvania on August 27, 1961 to Elsa Dinger and husband. After traveling the country with her family, she found herself in Joplin, Mo where she met her husband, Donald M. Bradford at a local eatery. On May 12, 1989 the two confessed their love for each other. Together, they welcomed three beautiful children into the world.
Colleen enjoyed working at a local Joplin nursing home for a few years before her children were born. Since then, most her time was spent with her family. She refused to miss her children’s sporting events, band concerts, and other school events. It was not unusual for her to take in unwanted animals. She was also known for her love for the Lord. She will be greatly missed by friends, family, and all who crossed her path.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Donald M. Bradford; her daughter, Carmen L. Bradford; her son, Isaiah M. Bradford; her daughter, Christa J. Seigrist, her son-in-law Trevor Seigrist, her grandson, Jerry Seigrist; her step-son, Jeremy Bradford, her step daughter-in-law Millisa Bradford, her grandchildren Katelynn Bradford, Alex Bradford, Mackenzie Bradford; her step-daughter, Paige Sullivan, her step son-in-law David Sullivan, and her grandson Christopher Sullivan. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Elsa Beegle.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00 AM on August 28, 2021 at The Glorious Church on seventh street. Pastor David Pizinger will officiate. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 1721 West Seventh Street Suite B, Joplin, Mo 64801.
