(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Anita Gail Patterson, age 67 passed away at 2:40 pm, Sunday August 22, 2021 at Labette Health, Parsons, KS following an illness.
Anita was born June 20, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. She had lived in Oswego the past 19 years moving from Joplin, MO.
In 1992, she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She then became a Registered Nurse in 2004 where she worked in area nursing homes.
She loved watching Netflix and stock car races on TV and taking care of her fur babies. She was known as a mom to everybody.
Surviving are her daughters, Amanda Gourley and Samantha Patterson, both of Oswego and Addie Lewis, Joplin; two brothers, William L Nash, Basehor, Ks and Michael Nash also from Kansas; and three grandchildren, Karley Smith, Kysen Lewis and Brina Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Patterson, one son , Shawn Hagemeier, and her father, James Lee Nash.
Anita was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS for cremation. No services are planned.
