Sheila Hopkins

Sheila C. Hopkins was born August 17, 1950 in Colorado City, Texas, the daughter of Leroy Gorden and Billie Mae (Ayers) Fredenburg. She entered into rest on August 25, 2021 in Neosho, following an illness at the age of 71. 

 Sheila graduated from Seneca High School and worked at Nutra-Blend in Neosho as payroll accountant, retiring in 2015. 

 

She was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, music and singing. Sheila never met a stranger. 

She is survived by a brother, Ronnie Ayers of Joplin; a niece, Dawn Haumann of Mt. Vernon; great nephew, Jayme Higginbotham and special friends, Jennifer and Dustin Kibler. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Leasa Higginbotham.
