(From Clark Funeral Home)Herbert Leslie Wilson was born May 15, 1925, in Ellsworth, Kansas to Robert E. Lee and Doris Elizabeth (Burnett) Wilson. He left this world August 9, 2021 at the age of 96.
He was an area resident most of his life and of the Church of God faith. He worked at Pet Milk Co. for 44 years in the can shop as a supervisor.
He graduated from Granby High School in 1943 where he met the love of his life, Dixie Rose Vance. They were married sixty six and a half years.
To this union were two children, Connie Wilson and Jimmy (Donna) Wilson.
He is survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie, his parents, three sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter, Misty Dawn.
There will be no funeral by his request.
