Brandon Burns

Brandon Daniel Burns, 31, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Truman Healthcare Center in Lamar, Missouri.

Brandon entered this life on January 12, 1991, in Gravette, Arkansas, born to the union of Danny and Terry (Slagle) Burns. He was a lifelong area resident and a 2009 graduate of McDonald County High School. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and loved animals. Brandon was a very special young man with a big heart who had a deep love and understanding of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Terry Burns; and two brothers, Richard Burns and Greg Wilson.

Brandon is survived by his father, Danny Burns and wife, Sally, of Cassville, Missouri; two brothers, Mark Shelton and wife, Jamie, of Indiana and James Shelton and wife, Shane, of Neosho, Missouri; a sister, Amanda O’Hearon and husband, Shane, of Anderson, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
