Dewey Sheets

Dewey Wayne Sheets, age 87, of Carthage, Missouri passed away July 27, 2023.

He was born April 2, 1936, in Newton, Kansas to John and Wilma (Doyle) Sheets.

Dewey was the owner/operator of Sheets Tree Service for over 60 years. He was also a member of the Carthage Church of the Nazarene.

He married Lois Rachel Baugh on April 11, 1953, and she passed away November 17, 2022. Also preceding him in death were his parents, on brother, Dean Sheets, one sister, Linda Horton.

Dewey is survived by one son, Dewey Sheets and wife April; two daughters, Shanna Potter and husband Brian, Vickie Smalley and husband Ken; seven grandchildren, Kenny Smalley, Krissy Smalley Long, Kimberly Moller, Daniel Sheets, Cole Potter, Cale Potter and Kate Potter; seven great grandchildren, Makenna Smalley, Alyssa Smalley, Kinley Long, M.J. Long, Dexton Moller, and Brynlee Moller; one sister, Beverly Rose and husband John and well as numerous friends.

He is missed so very much but leaves so many memories to be cherished always!!

Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday August 10, 2023, at the Carthage Church of the Nazarene
