(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Rebecca Ann Herron, age 75, of Joplin, Missouri passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023, following a sudden illness.
She was born March 27, 1948, in Carthage, Missouri to Perk and Edna (Fieker) Cox.
Becky loved to sew, quilt, work with crafts, work in the yard. Christmas was her favorite time and each year all the family would receive a new Christmas ornament. She retired as a loan officer with Legacy Credit Union.
She is survived by two sons, Judson Dunnaway and wife Kelly, Reeds, Missouri, Pete Herron, and wife Lacy, Oronogo, Missouri, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Those gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Pete Herron, Judson Dunnaway, Dawson Herron, Snyper Herron, Sherwood Doke, and Matthew Gains.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 15, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
