Terry Berlin

Terry Dean Berlin, age 78, of Seneca, Missouri passed away Tuesday August 2, 2023.

He was born February 6, 1945, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Earl and Leora (Hassel) Berlin.

Terry spent his early childhood in Sioux Falls before moving to Englewood, Colorado and graduating from high school. After high school he enlisted with the United States Marines where he proudly served his country for four years during the Vietnam War.






 

After his service to his country, he attended Chadron State College where he played football and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He then moved to Shoshone, Wyoming where he worked as a geologist before moving to Casper, Wyoming to continue his career in geology. 

During that time, he developed a relationship with Christ and began preaching. He moved to Joplin, Missouri where he taught and coached at Ozark Bible College and Carl Junction School system where he retired.

Terry was an avid lover of sports and the outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren on the lake. He attended Carl Junction Christian Church, Racine Christian Church and most recently Christ Church of Oronogo.








He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Joy Van Vleet.

Terry is survived by four daughters, Kimberly Cristy and husband Clayton, Kerry Hylton and husband Johnny, Kody Wohlenhaus and husband Woodrow, Karly Drake and husband Mark; 13 grandchildren, Ceirra Wall and husband Jacob, Kenna Bridges and husband Blaine, Caden Cristy and wife Morgan, Jayce Hylton, Justice Hylton, Jessa Hylton, Javis Berlin and wife Maggie, Braden Drake, Nathan Drake and wife Jade, Silas Drake, Wren Wohlenhaus, Sable Wohlenhaus, Vann Wohlenhaus; two great grandchildren, plus one on the way and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 19 from 10:00-12:00 at Racine Christian Church
