(From Clark Funeral Home)William Iriarte entered this life on May 6, 1956, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, one of nine children born to Johannes J. and Mihla Mauricio Iriarte. He entered into rest on August 6, 2023 at his home in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 67.
William graduated from Xavier High School in Chuk Micronesia and then attended and graduated from Dominican College in Summerfield, California, with a business degree. He returned to the Micronesian Islands and was manager of Exxon Mobile Micronesia, living on several of the island.
In 2005, he relocated with his family to the United States and lived in numerous places before moving in southwest Missouri in 2006, where he established a trucking business. William loved fishing, being at the ocean, helping others and he especially loved his family and spending time with them. He was a member of St. Canera Catholic Church.
In 1986, William married his childhood sweetheart, Lilly Hawley in Santa Rosa, California, who survives.
In addition to his wife of thirty-seven years, William is survived by his children, Bell Helgenberger, Melita Welsh, Eva Hawley, Joshua Wilson-Mori and Mary Lee Hawley; siblings, Akrino Maurico, Maurino Maurico, Merlina Iriarte-Ishoda, Meriam Sohl, Frank Iriarte, Jackie Iriarte and Lino Iriarte and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and children that he raised.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert (Tuko) Hawley and three siblings.
Services will be held at the family home at 1615 Mayberry Drive, Neosho, Missouri, from 1 pm Friday, August 11, 2023, through 1 pm, Saturday, August 12, 2023.
