(From Eddie's Family Funeral Home)Gregory Dean Sanders, son of the late Oather Dean Sanders and Betty Sue James Sanders, was born August 14, 1964 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life December 28, 2023 at his home in Pineville, Arkansas at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 14 days.
After graduating from Calico Rock High School, he went on to attend University of Central Arkansas and earn a degree in accounting. Greg spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent at Walmart, retiring after many years of employment.
He is survived by one daughter: Hannah Kent and husband Jacob of Webb City, Missouri; two brothers: Eric Sanders and wife Kim of Pineville and Bruce Sanders of Calico Rock; three grandchildren: Jayaa Kent, Thomas Kent and Kori Kent; three nieces: Bailey Whiteaker of Pineville, Carson Gibson of Pineville and Abby Sanders of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Jeffery Layne Sanders.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
