(From Knell Mortuary)Ralph Joseph Bailey, 85, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning, January 3, 2024, at his home. Ralph was born February 9, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph Bailey and Blanche (Bell) Bailey.
He was a retired veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years.
Ralph is survived by a daughter, Trudy Crowe (Bill), Carthage, Missouri; a brother, Bill Keyes (Beverly), Dacula, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Bailey; a daughter, Carla Whitman; son in-law, Donovan Whitman; companion, Cindy Congdon; and two sisters, Laura Keyes Knight, and June Keyes Fincher.
Per Ralph’s wishes, there was cremation, and memorial graveside services will be held at The Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri, and will be announced by Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
