Antonio Valenzuela

Francisco “Antonio” Valenzuela, 51, passed away on February 8, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on September 4, 1972, in Tucson, Arizona, to Richard Valenzuela and Michael (Frizzell) Valenzuela.

For many years, he was a respected truck driver for Blue Chip Ice. He was a
devoted Steelers fan, Francisco's passion for his team was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. 

He was a devoted family man, marrying the love of his life, Mikaela McCaslin on February 24, 2018, in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a pillar of strength and support for his wife and his children. Antonio's children were the center of his world, and his love for his children was evident in every aspect of his life. He was known to be an exceptional father who always put their needs and dreams first.







Antonio is survived by his wife Mikaela (McCaslin) Valenzuela; children, Destinee, Harlee, Kayla, and Raee; mother, Michael Valenzuela; siblings, Richard, Danny, Josh, and Melinda Valenzuela; the Norma Verdugo family; and his wife’s family. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Valenzuela, and his infant sister Melinda Ann Valenzuela.








As we say farewell to Antonio Valenzuela, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives. He will be profoundly missed, but the light of his spirit will forever shine in the hearts of his loved ones.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
