Bobby L. Reis, age 89 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday May 21, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri following a sudden illness.
He was born November 13, 1928 in Webb City, Missouri to Roy and Lula Belle (Rickman) Reis.
Bobby was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Carl Junction High School. He retired from FAG Manufacturing.
He married Maxine Vann on July 3 1949 and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2011. He was also preceded in death by one son in law, James Larson.
Bobby is survived by three daughters, Connie Smith and husband Mike, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Debbie Starks and husband Gary, Carl Junction, Missouri, Pam Larson, Carl Junction, Missouri; one sister, Dorothy Johnson and husband Wayne, Galena, Kansas, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday May 25, 2018 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Shaun Watson officiating. Burial will follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery.
Those gentlemen honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Preston Starks, Blake Starks, Conner Honeywell, Jeff Royster, Gary Johnson and John Boccia.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home Webb City, Missouri.
