Sarah Ann Pippin, 78, Neosho, MO entered into rest on May 26, 2018. She was born Jan. 31, 1940 in Neosho to Delmar and Minnie Eugenia (Jackson) Lankford.
Sarah was a lifelong resident of the Neosho – Seneca area. She was a homemaker and also had worked as a nurse aide. Sarah was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church; she loved flowers, birds, gardening, and all children.
Sarah and Boyd Pippin were married Feb. 14, 1968 in Joplin, MO; he survives of the home. She is also survived by six siblings: brothers, Howard Lankford and Ron Lankford, both of Neosho; sisters, Mildred Adey of Houston, MO, Frances Friend of Seneca, MO, Mary Nunes of Spokane, WA, and Carolyn Sreaves of Seneca, MO; eleven nieces; eleven nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Sarah was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Oliver; one brother, Leonard Lankford; and one niece, Janie Burch.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Thursday, May 31 at Bethany Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick W. Booyer officiating. Interment will follow at Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery, Seneca, MO. Visitation will be held between 5:00 and 6:30 pm on Wednesday, May 30 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
