Harold L. Ralston, 95, Neosho, MO passed away May 6, 2018. He was born Nov. 8, 1922 in St. John’s, New Brunswick, Canada to James and Gladys (Carter) Ralston. Harold served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, and had been a firefighter for the Boston Fire Department prior to moving to the Neosho area. He was an avid musician, playing drums for jazz bands for many years.
Harold and Cecelia Ralston were married Sept. 27, 1941; she preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 1987. He is survived by three children: Harold Ralston and wife, Jackie of Santa Fe, NM, Bill Ralston and wife, Debbie of Neosho, MO, and Nancy Hutchins and husband, Justin of Neosho; ten grandchildren: Brian Ralston, Brady Ralston, Sarah Hall, Max Ralston and wife, Sarah, Kelly Forkner and husband, Kevin, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Vic, Lorelle Hutchins and wife, Sarah, Justin Hutchins, MacKenzie Hutchins, and Keaton Hutchins; nine great grandchildren: Shelby Johnson and Brett Lewis, Meghan Forkner, Danielle Forkner, Kelsey Smith and husband, Dakota, Jasmine Mesa, Clara Ralston, Alexandra Ralston, Layla Ralston, and Karli Houston; and one great great grandchild, Hadley Lewis. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia; one son, Thomas Ralston; four brothers; and one sister.
A service of remembrance will be held 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Jeremy Bridges officiating. Visitation will follow the services until 7:30 pm.
