Frank Harold Douthit of Fairland, OK passed from this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Welch, OK. He was 79.
Frank was born March 7, 1939 in Ottawa County, OK to Harold and Nadine (Shirley) Douthit. He had lived in the Ottawa County area most of his life and was a 1958 graduate of Wyandotte High School.
Frank worked for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, Service Packing in Joplin, MO Buy 4 Less and Marvin's Foods in Miami where he was a meat cutter. He was a member of Frisco Lodge No. 24 A.F.&A.M. in Fairland Oklahoma.
Frank was preceded in death by 3 children, Nancy Sue, Harold Frank (Frankie) and Angela Dawn, his parents and 3 siblings, Carl, Lawrence (Lonnie) and Kathy.
Survivors include his wife Rosena (Witte) Douthit of the home, 4 daughters, Simmie Lea Douthit of San Antonio, TX, Lorri Ann Force of St. Robert, MO, Melissa Jo (Missy) Smith of Welch, OK and Shelly Alana Delcour of Fairland, OK, his brother, Wayne Douthit of Fairland, OK, 2 sisters, Kay Douthit of Fairland, OK and Linda Hembree of Welch, OK, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK with Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, southeast of Miami, OK. Pallbearers will be Levi Smith, Andrew Hanson, Todd Magoon and Matt Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Parmlee, Glen Weddel, Donnie Harner, Carl Cheatwood, Shane Duncan, Josh Sumpter, Dusty Crane and Norma Rhodes. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Integris Hospice Miami, BRHC Foundation, P.O.
