Vinita June Roach, age 77 of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
She was born on October 7, 1940 in Stella, MO to the late Harry Elwood Hardisty and Gracey Phillip Hardisty.
Vinita married Marion Roach on October 9, 1958 in Joplin. Together they owned and operated their own cleaning service. He preceded her in death June 6, 2011.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Hardisty.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry Roach and wife Tina, Gary Roach and wife Brandy, Kirt Roach and wife Amanda, and Bruce Roach all of Joplin; one daughter, Detra (Dee) Casebeer and husband, David, Joplin; six grandchildren, Latosha Pendergrass and husband Stephen, Alisha Vaughan and husband Curtis, Gary Roach, Jr., Blaine Roach, Bryce Roach, Wyatt Roach and Amanda; four great grandchildren, Devin, Brayden, and Naudia Rainey and Makenna Vaughan; two great-great-grandchildren Grayson Crabb and Paisley Morales; one brother, James Elwood Hardisty; and two sisters, Evelyn Fluker and Sammy Foster.
Memorial services are planned for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, at Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
