Margaret Wald

Margaret Jean Wald, 90 years of Anderson, Missouri departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri.

Margaret entered this life on March 25, 1928 in Gainesville, Texas, daughter of the late Aubrey and Mildred Lee (Greer) Estes. On June 4, 1960 she was united in marriage to Rodney Wald and to this union one son was born. In 1994 she and her husband moved to Anderson, Missouri where he ministered at the Jefferson Street Church of Christ. She really enjoyed knitting and supporting the Hands of Compassion. Margaret was the secretary to the president of the Oklahoma Christian College. We celebrate her life and look forward to that day of our reunion in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Emily Ann Wald; a sister, Joyce Malinowsky; three brothers, Neil Estes, David Estes and A. J. Estes.

Margaret is survived by her son, Peter Stuart Wald and wife, Andrea, of Anderson, Missouri; three grandchildren, Anna Wald, Timothy Wald and Matthew Wald; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services for Margaret Wald will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Anderson Chapel of the Ozark funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Eastern European Missions in care of the funeral home.
