Conrad Feather

Conrad E. Feather, 57, of Carthage passed away May 14, 2018 after a sudden illness. He was the son of Sam and the late Dorothy Feather of Sarcoxie. He was a Sarcoxie High School graduate class of 1978 and of MSSU. He live his life in the Sarcoxie/Carthage area.
Conrad was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother, uncle, “great uncle” and friend to many. He loved sports of all kinds and was an avid Royals fan in the summer and a Chiefs fan in the winter. He loved playing golf and was a Master Gardener. Conrad previously worked a Schreiber Foods for 20 years and Arrow Box Company for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Webb City Elks Lodge, Carthage Men’s Golf Association and actively supported several charitable organizations.
Conrad married Peggy Michael on July 10, 1981. She survives. Other survivors include daughter Regie Feather, St. Joseph, MO; Randy Feather. Vilseck Germany; and father Sam Feather, Sarcoxie; his brothers Chris Feather (Debbie) and Curtis Feather (Kathleen), Sarcoxie; and Tony Feather (Jean) Jefferson City, MO; sisters Cynthia Workes (Bill) and Charlotte Pickering (Doug), Sarcoxie, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved and faithful four-legged companions Tula, Lexi, and Nikki.
Conrad was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Feather; Brother Carl Feather, niece Heather Workes, and three nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 19, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 Friday May 18, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fidelity cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Royce Football Stadium, Inch at a Time, Horses of Hope and Big Brothers and Big Sisters in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
