Rebecca Rae Lhamon, age 65, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her residence.
Rebecca was born November 16, 1952 in Lima, Ohio, daughter of the late James Raymond Lhamon and Patricia Rose Sowers Lhamon. She moved to the Joplin area as a child, and attended Joplin Schools, graduating from Joplin High School in 1971. She then earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Missouri Southern State College. She worked for years at Eagle Picher in the coupling department before retiring in 2016
Rebecca is survived by her brother, Tom Lhamon from Bloomington, Illinois.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. No services are planned at this time.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Humane Society.
