Margie E. Cones, age 75, Joplin, walked into the arms of her first love, the Lord Jesus on May 24, 2018.
Margie was born October 6, 1942 in Joplin to the late Paul A. Crow and Leta Mae Smith.
Margie worked as an independent aide for several years and was of the Pentecostal faith. Her family will miss her immensely but are happy in the fact she is home with her father in Heaven.
Survivors include three daughters, Paula Coryell, Mary Gail Howard, Shannon Cones, all of Joplin; one son, Nick Cones, Carthage; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Crow, Joplin; a brother, Johnnie Crow and wife, Diana, New Mexico; and many other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Jack Crow.
Services are planned for Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Steve Hollis will officiate. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rickie Coryell, Michael Howard, Daniel Harrelson, Zach Terry, Eric Ryan and Nathan Crow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
