Rose Marie Williams 71, of Pittsburg, KS died 11:50pm Friday July 27, 2018 at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
Rose was born February 5, 1948 in Modesto, CA the daughter of Floyd and Nettie (Brown) Perry. She has lived in this area most all her life attending Lamar, MO schools.
On October 21, 1966 Rose married Joseph Ivicsics in Troy, MO; he preceded her in death on November 8, 1973. On February 2, 1974 Rose married Jacob Williams in Pittsburg, KS; he survives at the home.
Rose worked in housekeeping and later laundry supervisor for Super 8 Motel and later Medicalodge South Nursing Home until her retirement in 1999. Rose was a member of the Salvation Army Church; she enjoyed reading and camping. She most of all loved her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; children Eva Weir and husband Tony of Pittsburg, KS and Joseph Ivicsics and wife Belinda of Pittsburg, KS; siblings Leona Jensen of Modesto, CA, Floyd Perry Jr. and wife Debbie of Yuma City, CA and Lloyd Perry and wife Barbara of Joplin, MO; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Ivicsics and brother Charles Perry.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Thursday August 2, 2018 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Elder Laura Grotheer officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakton Cemetery in rural Lamar, MO. Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
