Betty L. Welch Mason, age 76, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 5, 1941 in Monett, Missouri the daughter of Ed and Vera (Corbin) Easley. On May 26, 1959 she was united in marriage to Allen Welch, who preceded her in death on October 30, 1997. Also preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers.
On March 6, 2000 she married Bob Mason, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Richard Shaw, Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Neosho, Missouri; three daughters, Betty Jo Bohannan and her husband Rick of Neosho, Missouri, Janet Lambert and her husband Mike of Shell Knob, Missouri and Jeanine Wood and her husband Gary of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Betty received her elementary education at Eagle Rock and graduated from Cassville High School. She had been employed at various convenience stores as a clerk, drove a school bus for Shell Knob and had worked at Jumping Jacks for a while. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Cassville, Missouri.
