Virgil James Parrish, Pierce City, MO passed away at the age of 71 on September 8, 2018.
Born July 17, 1947 in Granby, MO to James and Mildred (McEntire) Parrish, Virgil was a lifelong area resident.
He worked as a farm laborer, and received great joy watching Westerns on television.
He is survived by two brothers, John Williams of Sun City, AZ and George Parrish of Stark City, MO; two sisters Carol Buntin of Carthage, MO and Linda Lemons of Peabody, KS;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 12, from 5:30 until 6:30 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Granby, MO.
Graveside services will be 10 am Thursday, September 13 at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, with Rev. Ralph Walker officiating.
