John Ingram

John Emmit Ingram, age 94, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 15, 2018.

John was born December 8, 1923, in Springdale, AR. The son of the late Will and Ida (Hamilton) Ingram.

John married his beloved Mary L. Wade in Springdale AR, October 10, 1949. He proudly served during World War II, and received the Bronze Star presented to him by General George Patton.

During his life, he had several businesses: a lumber mill, grocery store, and construction company. He also served as a fire fighter and loved gardening.

He is survived by one son, Chuck Ingram and wife Terry; three grandchildren, Amy (Matthew) Stemm, Amanda (Aloys) Stacklin, and John Ingram II; six great-grandchildren Chase, Samuel, Madison, Amelia, Annaliese and Seth. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 68 years; one son, John A. Ingram; brothers, Harvey, Hubert, Harry; sister Hazel.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Parker Mortuary. Pastor Boyce Mouton will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors.

Family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Saturday, at 10 AM prior to service.
