Roberta Manka, age 75 of Lamar, Missouri died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Joplin Mercy Hospital.
Roberta was born December 8, 1942 to Edward Olen Clyde and Ida Martha (DeLuce) Brockert in Wakenda, Missouri. She was a homemaker and had attended the Church of Christ and Assembly of God Church.
On March 21, 2002 she married James K. Manka in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home. She also leaves behind two sons, Anthony Leon Swope, Independence, Missouri and Edward Swope of Winfred, South Dakota; two daughters, Roberta Lynn Manka Mara, Golden City, Missouri and Viola Leo, Golden City, Missouri; tow brothers, William Henry Brockert, and Clarence Hamilton Brockert; three sisters, Patricia Akin, Sarah Campbell, and Velma Goetz; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Richard Hurrell; and a son, Glenn Swope.
Roberta was buried in a private graveside service at Pippenger Cemetery.
