Mary Lingle

Mary Annabell Lingle, 88, passed away September 5, 2018 at St. Luke’s Care Center in Carthage, MO after an extended illness.

 Born June 29, 1930 in Kansas City, KS to William Waldo and Margaret (Jaklitz) White, Mrs. Lingle had been a Diamond resident since early 1960. She co-owned and operated Diamond Feed & Hardware prior to her retirement. Mary was a member of the Christian Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing. 

 She and Donald Lingle were married June 20, 1951; he preceded her in death on March 7, 1951. Mary is survived by her children: Robert Lingle and wife, Barbara Joy of Diamond, Juldy Clifton and husband, David of Smyrna, TN, Randy Lingle and wife, Carmelita of Granby; step-son, Kenny Lingle and wife, Paralene of Cassville; brothers, Bill White of Climax Springs, MO and Tom White of the state of FL; sisters, Beulah Shidler of Fontant, KS and Hazel Akers of Boliver, MO; four grandchildren: Brandon, Lisa, Michael and Kevin; and three great grandchildren: Kendall, Makayla and Jase.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Clark Funeral Home in Granby, MO, beginning at 12:00, with services immediately following at 1:00; Kat Mercer will officiate. Interment will be at the Diamond Cemetery in Diamond. Contributions to honor Mary may be made to St. Luke’s Activity Fund, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26, Granby, MO 64844.
