Christopher D. Kissel, 42, Diamond, entered into rest on September 8, 2018 at his home, following an extended illness.
Christopher was born July 7, 1976 in Carthage, the son of Charles D., Jr. and Carolyn (Baker) Kissel. He was a lifelong area resident, had graduated from Vatterott Business College, and was in the computer software and music industry. He had attended MSU as a music major and was a talented musician and a computer whiz. He was a member of the Diamond Christian Church.
Christopher is survived by his father, Charles D. Kissel, Jr. of Carl Junction; his mother, Carolyn Kissel of Diamond; one brother, Joshua E. Kissel of Diamond; his aunt, Tammy Oxendine and cousins, Matt, Shane and K’dee.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Charles and Lavon Kissel, maternal grandparents, Bill and Pansy Baker and two uncles, Robert E. Kissel and Kendall Baker.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
Services will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10 am at the Diamond Christian Church, Father Frank Sierra will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Diamond Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Danny Bell, Bobby DeGonia, Cory Schultz, Andy Eutsler, Brian Barnard, Adam Hagerman, Brian Little, Dan Golden, Pride Milton, and Justin McDougal.
