Sandra Smith

Loving wife, daughter, grandma, & friend Sandra Sue Smith passed peacefully in her sleep on August 22nd, 2018, at age 79. Sandra was born in Fairview Missouri on April 24th, 1939 to mother Marilyn & Father Ruben Summers. Sandra grew up in Fairview enjoying all walks of a small town life. She used to say, "I couldn't get away with anything. My mother knew what I was into before I ever had a chance to make it home."

Sandra graduated from Fairview High School in the summer of 1956. The 5 years later she married the love of her life Walter T Smith. A few years later they moved from the mid-west to Lynnwood Washington, where they made a life working and raising their two sons Jeff and Barry.

Sandra worked for 35 years at Sears Department store after she retired Sandra enjoyed watching her 5 grandchildren: Anthony, Alex, Shelby, Kiara, and Adrian grow up playing in the same house her two sons grew up in. Sandra has was also blessed to see 4 of her great grandkids: Liam, Ava, Corbin and Amelia play in the very same house, when the house was empty and the family going about their day, Sandra and Walter would enjoy evening walks, square-dancing, gardening, and making the best Peanut Brittle this side of the mountains.

Sandra Sue Smith's memorial service will be held Wednesday September 5th 2018 at 4 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, Everett, WA. Viewing will begin at 3 p.m., a reception will follow the service at the funeral home.

Sandra Smith will then be making the trip back to Missouri to be laid to rest next to her family. Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Dice Cemetery, Fairview, Missouri, with arrangements by Bennett & Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, MO
