Helen M. Hopper age 98 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 in Neosho, Missouri.
She was born on February 6, 1920 in Hale, Missouri to Jacob Pruitt and Maude (Colter) Pruitt. She owned and operated Hopper Trucking and Hopper Glass with her husband for many years. Helen is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Webb City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn M. Hopper on January 9, 2000; her parents, and a son, Bill Simpson. Helen is survived by her daughter, Carole Herron of Neosho, Missouri; son, Dale Simpson and wife Judy of Orange Vale, California; step-son, Gerald Hopper and wife Pat of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; daughter in law, Alma Simpson; 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
The family will be present for a visitation on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Oak Hill Cemetery (Clearmont Cemetery) in Clearmont, Missouri.
