Charlotte Leone Malone, age 66, Liberal, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home with family at her side.
Charlotte was born February 16, 1952 in Canton, Georgia, daughter of the late Richard Clyde O'Neal and Vera Janette Watson O'Neal. She grew up in Georgia, Texas, and attended High School in El Dorado, Missouri. She was a stay at home mom who devoted her life to taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and sewing, and going to her church, Lighthouse of Worship in Liberal.
Survivors include her husband whom she has been with for over 25 years, Harold E. Malone, Jr. of Liberal; children, Terese Stalman and husband Terry of Bixby, Oklahoma, Miika Duncan of Pittsburg, Kansas, Darle Bell and husband George of Schell City, Missouri, David Fleener and wife Holly of Locast, North Carolina, and Anthony Fleener of Waverly, Iowa; sister Dianna Jackson of Purdy, Missouri; brothers, Curtiss Ryan of Carthage, Missouri, and Bertram Herrell of Phoenix, Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Lighthouse of Worship, Liberal, with Rev. David Beard officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
