Frona Lea Burris, age 69, passed away at 1:29 pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO following an illness.
Frona was born January 5, 1949 in Joplin, MO. Her parents were William J and Jewell I (Stark) Woodard. She was raised in Galena, KS.
She had lived in Webb City the past year and a half, moving from Joplin where she had lived for 15 years.
She was a member of Stone Tabernacle, Webb City, MO.
Surviving is one son Edward “E.J.” Burris (wife, Laura) , Aransas Pass, TX; one brother, Frank Woodard, Joplin; 4 sisters, Nancy St Clair, Joplin, Sandra Dunaway, Quapaw, OK, Billie Albright, Quapaw, and Norma LIttlepage, Galena; 3 grandchildren, Aurora Barger, Alexandria Henderson (husband, Andy), and Damon Burris; and one great-grandchild, Jason Henderson.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation.
The family will gather from 500 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 27, at Stone Tabernacle, 1426 W Crow, Webb City, MO to receive friends.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, September at Stone Tabernacle, Webb City MO. Pastor Ben Pennock will officiate.
