Allie Jean “Jeannie” Blaylock, age 77, Joplin, MO passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at her home.
She was born September 28, 1940 in Wyandotte, OK to the late Ernest Paul Smith and Francis Pearl Wyrick Smith.
Jeannie married Larry Blaylock on February 8, 1964 in Baxter Springs, KS. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons, Larry Blaylock, Jr. and wife, Jeanie, of Neosho, and Dennie Blaylock and wife, Katrina, Joplin; two daughters, Melinda Waggoner, Neosho, and Misty Miller and husband, Steven, Carl Junction; one step-daughter, Vicki Myers and husband, Jack, Niles, OH; one sister; Thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Walter Hurst, five brothers; and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Monday, at Hornet Cemetery. Rev. Jeff D. Martin will officiate. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Parker Mortuary.
