Valerie L. Foreman, age 50, Carl Junction, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital.
Valerie was born July 24, 1968 in Monett, Missouri to James E. Denney and Alice Beatrice Meyers Denney.
Valerie worked as a pharmacy technician for several years in the Joplin area. She loved the outdoors, taking trips to the lake and the mountains and animals of all kinds. Valerie loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She married Ray Foreman on September 4, 1987 in Springfield. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include her children, Shandi Gilmore and husband, David, Amanda Reed and husband, Jon; parents, James E. Denney, Alice Beatrice Williams; siblings, Craig Denney, Curtis Denney, Chris Denney, Scott Denney, Shannon King, Vicki Williams; grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Taylor, Rhett; brother-in-law, Jerry Foreman; and several other extended family members and many friends.
Services are planned for Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Nancy Hutson will officiate. Graveside services will follow Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Arnhart Cemetery, East Purdy, Missouri. The family will receive friends Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society, both in care of Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
