Mr. Clyde Leon Moss, 81, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, September 20, 2018, in the comfort of his home after a long battle with cancer.
Clyde entered this life on June 27, 1937, in Southwest City, Missouri, son of the late Faye and Lenora (Lyster) Moss. He was raised and graduated high school in Southwest City. Clyde was a truck driver throughout his life, working for Hudson and Tyson Foods. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Clyde was of the Baptist faith.
His parents and one brother, Marion Moss preceded him in death.
Clyde is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Janice Moss of the home; four children, Martha Lou Rose of Pryor, Oklahoma, Tonya Oliver of Neosho, Missouri, Pam Mendenhall and husband, Paul, of Seneca, Missouri and Steven Swink and wife, Robin, of Noel, Missouri; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Moss and wife, Fyra, of Seneca and Edward Moss of Diamond; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest City Cemetery with Bro. Russell Thomas officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Derek Allphin, Kaleb Testerman, Mike Frito, Bo James, Chad Murphy and Mike Smith.
