Adrienne Myers

Adriene Myers, age 39, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Joplin. Mrs. Myers, daughter of Tommy and Debra (Schachtner) Kitch, was born on October 9, 1979 in Joplin where she was a lifelong resident.

On August 9, 2000 she was united in marriage to Richard Myers in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was loved as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandchild and friend. She had a love for all animals at a young age which earned her the family nickname “catfish.” She loved being a mother and wife. Her children will remember her charisma and relentless love for them. Everyone will always remember her beauty, hugs, smile, and happiness. Her light will be missed.








Survivors include her husband, Richard Myers, of Joplin; two children, Elaina Kitch and Christopher Myers, both of Joplin; parents, Tommy and Debra Kitch of Joplin; one brother, Noah Kitch, and fiancé, Tetisheri, of Carl Junction; and one sister, Amanda Hays, and her husband, Chad, of Webb City; and grandparents, Janice Lewis of Galena and Helen and Richard Johnson of Riverton.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary, Joplin.

  1. Adriene and I met when we were both both pregnant with our first children. Before Elaina was born it was obvious how much she loved her. Adriene will be missed by everyone especially those who really knew her.
