Norma N. Corben, 77, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her home in Carthage, MO. Norma was born October 28, 1941 in Manila, Philippines to Roman and Maria “Graciela” Navarro. She was a longtime resident of Carthage and retired from Cardinal Scale after 19 years of service. She loved her grandchildren, gardening (especially flowers) and being outdoors.
Norma was united in marriage to Donald Corben in Olongapo, Philippines on December 3, 1960; he survives.
Norma is also survived by two sons, Tony Corben of Denver, CO and Timothy Corben of Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Samantha Boyle (Ryan) of Carthage; eight grandchildren, Chris Corben, Justin Corben, Mason Velten, Timothy Corben, Jr., Corben Pugh, Alexa Boyle, Paige Pugh and Brekyn Boyle; four great grandchildren, Gabrielle Corben, Cameron Corben, Kayden Deckard and Elijah Deckard.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Ulmer Funeral Home, with services immediately following.
