Judith Carol “Judy” Ipock, age 73, Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away Saturday evening, July 27, 2019 at her home with family by her side. Judy Holcomb was born July 8, 1946 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to the late Charles Alfred Holcomb and Ruby Maxine (Clifton) Holcomb. Judy worked as a waitress for several area restaurants, was an over the road trucker, and worked on the line at Atlas Powder Plant.
She married Joe Ipock, Jr. on May 1, 1992 in Miami, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on May 14, 2016. Judy enjoyed gambling, bingo, going camping, traveling, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Sonya Smith (Jamey), Cassville, Missouri; one son, Lee Chastain, Carthage, Missouri; one sister, Pam Wyrick (Jinks); two grandchildren, Cody Dyer (Shelia), and Lane Smith; and one great grandchild, Allie Dyer.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie Holcomb and David Holcomb.
Memorial visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of Knell Mortuary.
