Foy Houston Wigent, Jr., age 54, Neosho, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home after a sudden illness.
Foy was born February 2, 1965 in Joplin, son of the late Foy Houston Wigent, Sr. and Rema Christina Bonner Wigent. He grew up in Joplin where he attended Joplin Schools, and worked in construction most of his life. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila (Mathis) Wigent; children, Chasity Mathis, Jeremiah Wigent, Isaiah Wigent, Danielle Wigent, and Jonathan Wigent; grandchildren, Heavenly Faith Rema Mathis, Corbin Mathis, and Landon Mathis; brothers, Steven Wigent of Joplin, Tony Mazy of California; sisters, Annis Barnes of Waco, Missouri, and Rema Louise Vandiver of Joplin; several nieces and nephews.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
