Joe Del Hill, 83, Seneca, MO passed away July 12, 2019. He was born December 27, 1935 in Seneca to Leonard “Bullet” and Beulah (Crowder) Hill.
Joe was a self-employed heavy equipment operator, running Joe Hill Backhoe Service for 25 years. He was a member of Seneca Church of Christ and enjoyed playing in the dirt, dominos, and his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joe married Patricia Griffith on November 24, 1958 in Seneca; she survives of the home. He is also survived by two children, Wendy Milliman and husband, Steve and Sandy Hill, all of Joplin, MO; four grandchildren, Jessica Stoerger and husband, Ben, Clayton Milliman and wife, Brittany, Dustin Hill and wife, Lexi and Colton Hill; and five great grandchildren, Autumn and Eryn Stoerger and Katelyn, Regan and Brooklyn Milliman.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rocky Hill; and one brother, Robert Hill.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Seneca Church of Christ. Brother Bob Hampton will officiate. Visitation will follow the service.
