Vivian Darlene Butts, Diamond, Missouri entered into rest on July 12, 2019 at the age of 87 years, nine months, and sixteen days. Vivian was born September 26, 1931 in Joplin, Missouri to Bill and Alta (Jones) Avery. She was a homemaker.
Vivian loved hummingbirds, flowers, and her family above all else.
She and Harold E. Butts were married November 24, 1948 in Arkansas; he preceded her in death on May 16, 2002.
Vivian is survived by her son, Rodney Butts of Diamond, Missouri; one sister, Frieda Dreher of Diamond; three grandchildren, Candy Butts, Porsha Butts, and Shanntelle Butts; nine great grandchildren, Taylor, Carisa, Lucas, Chace, Kyleigh, Collyn, Aliyah, Alexis, and Ripley; and two great-great grandchildren, Connor and Remington. In addition to her husband,
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; and an infant daughter.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at Spring Valley Cemetery, Tipton Ford. Pastor Gene Bebee will officiate.
