Julia Hudson

Julia Irene Hudson, age 91, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Bradford House in Bentonville. Mrs. Hudson, daughter of Henry and Mary (Foster) Wallace, was born on August 2, 1927, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

On June 19, 1946, she was united in marriage to Ray Hudson in Columbus, Kansas; celebrating sixty-four wonderful years together, he preceded her in death on February 23, 2010. Julia was a current member of the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, and was a charter member of the Victory Baptist Church in Cassville. She also had served and assisted in various ministries throughout her life, touching lives wherever she went. Julia was well known for her Cross in the Pocket memento that she handed out to anyone she met; it was a symbol of God’s love for each of us and she wanted to share it.








Survivors include three sons, Timothy Hudson and his wife Sue, and Roie Hudson and his wife Glenda, all of Cassville, and Henry Hudson and his wife Linda, of Bentonville, Arkansas; three daughters, Joyce Huse, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Patricia Newman, of Joplin, and Mary Gulick and her husband James, of Cincinnati, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Pastor Russell Bishop officiating with burial to follow at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
