Paul Eugene "Gene" Loewe, age 89, of Lamar, Missouri passed away July 25, 2019, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Gene was born April 9, 1930 in Milford, MO to Paul Julius Loewe and Ethel (Smith) Loewe.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1960. On June 17, 1961, Gene married Nora Lee Pistole in Golden City, MO and together they raised two daughters.
Gene worked as a cattle farmer for many years and had retired from Thorco Industries after working there for over 30 years. He was a member of the Lamar Saddle Club and was a Christian.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda and husband Terry Richardson and Lisa and husband Tim Riley, all of Lamar, MO; three sisters, Velma Crockett, Nadine Mayfield, and Wilma Braker, all of Lamar, MO; and four grandchildren, Melanie and husband Jay Martin, Chelsea Riley, Trevon Riley, and Kurt Richardson.
Preceding Gene in death were his wife, Nora Lee, in 2014; and three sisters, Irene Westbay, Edna Mae Mayfield, and Betty Gilmartin.
