Brian Hedgcorth

Brian K. Hedgcorth, age 52, Jasper, Missouri. passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.

Brian was born September 26, 1966 in Joplin. He graduated from Carthage High School in 1984. He has worked for Schreiber Foods for over 32 years.

He had a deep faith in the Lord and shared his faith every chance he got. He enjoyed being outside on his property, where he would go for long walks in the woods & around the pond soaking in God's creation.

He loved his family dearly and was very proud of his marriage to Gaila and their son Joseph.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Dale Hedgcorth, his grandparents, Roy and Velma Hedgcorth and Arvilla Dill, and father in law, Bill Atkins.








He leaves behind his wife of almost 33 years, Gaila M. (Atkins) Hedgcorth; a son, Joseph Hedgcorth of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, mother, Kathy Hedgcorth Hulstine and husband Ray of Webb City, Missouri; brothers, Chris Hedgcorth and wife Debra of Rogersville, Missouri, Craig Hedgcorth of Webb City; and four nieces, Currin, Makayla, Tabatha, and Samantha.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Norm Duncan officiating.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Saturday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to his brother's ministry, Finding the Family, care of Parker Mortuary.
