Delmar Eugene George, age 77, Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, July 11th 2019, at Pittsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center after battling a long illness.
Delmar was born June 8, 1942, son of the late Jack and Gladys (Livengood) George. He worked at Acme Brick, but spent most of his life as a mechanic, living in the Pittsburg area.
In addition to his parents, Delmar was preceded in death by a brother, Larry; sisters, Fay, Myrna, and Eileen; a grandson, Derrick; and a stepson, Eddie.
Delmar is survived by one daughter, Windy Clay (Mike) of Tennessee; five sisters, Kathy, Linda, Jenny, Donna, and Patty; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 30 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, with burial of his ashes with his mother.
