Nellie Durbin, 92, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest July 23, 2019 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.
Nellie Terry was born September 9, 1926 in Racine, MO the daughter of William and Clara (Merriman) Terry. Nellie was a homemaker and loved her family. She was a member of the Pentecostal Life Center, Joplin, MO. Nellie was an example of a good Christian woman. Nellie was famous for her pancakes.
Nellie Terry married Earl Durbin in December 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death November 15, 1988.
Survivors include five sons; Michael Durbin and wife Terri, Galena, KS, Eddie Durbin, Racine, MO, David Durbin, Miami, OK, Terry and wife Tam Durbin, Neosho, MO and Jim Durbin and wife Rose, Neosho; one daughter, Joyce Jones and husband Gary, Seneca; one sister, Thelma Elder, Seneca; 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Nellie was also preceded in death by one son, Randy Durbin, one granddaughter, Tonya Jones, one grandson Eric Durbin, one great-great grandson Weston Hill; two brothers Charles Terry and John Terry.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Pentecostal Life Center in Joplin, MO with Jarrod Jones, Gary Jones and Dakota Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery with David W. Durbin, Andy Durbin, Jeramiah Durbin, Adam Durbin, Kolby Durbin and Jerome Jones serving as pallbearers.
