Scott Hartley

Scott Hartley born in Carthage, MO on May 15th, 1961 to Dorothy (McClintock) Hartley and Richard Milo Hartley died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on July 17th.

He was united in marriage to Kelly (Baugh) on September 18th, 1987. She survives. 

He is also survived by his daughter Kailey of Carthage and daughter Ryann (Anna) of Washburn. He was Poppy to grandchildren Graham Milo and Collin Rose also of Washburn. He is survived by father Richard Milo Hartley, brothers Denny (Sandy) and Tom (Sara) all of Carthage. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Rosetta Hales of Carthage and sisters-in-law Kimmy Baugh of Carthage and Kerry Burns of Kansas City. Scott is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his lifelong best friend Steve Hoenshell of Webb City.








He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Hartley in 2008 and his father-in-law Dave Baugh in 1995.

Visitation will be held at Jasper United Methodist Church on Monday, July 23rd from 5:00-7:00PM. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date.

Because of Scott’s love of the game of golf and especially his love for the Carthage Golf Course and all his golf buddies, memorial donations are suggested to the Carthage Men’s Golf Association Scott Hartley Memorial Fund.
